Itchen was a former urban district located in Hampshire, England, which existed from 1898 until 1920. The urban district was formed by merging the parishes of St Mary Extra and Sholing, with the latter having been created in 1894 from a part of the Hound parish. Prior to the creation of the urban district, both parishes had been part of the South Stoneham Rural District between 1894 and 1898. The creation of a unified parish of Itchen, which coincided with the urban district, occurred in 1903. The Itchen urban district was dissolved in 1920 and became part of the county borough of Southampton.
