Grove Place is a grade II* listed country house located in the parish of Nursling and Rownhams in Hampshire to the west of Upton and across the M271 motorway. The house was originally built in the early 18th century for a wealthy merchant named Richard Lisle, and was subsequently owned by several prominent families before being converted into flats in the mid-20th century.
The house is noted for its fine Georgian architecture, including a symmetrical facade, Palladian windows, and a grand entrance portico. The interior features ornate plasterwork, a central staircase with a wrought-iron balustrade, and several period fireplaces. The house is set within extensive grounds which include formal gardens, woodland, and a lake.
